The Humming Room by Ellen Potter
Twelve-year-old Roo Fanshaw, who has a talent for hiding, is sent to live with his estranged uncle in his on Cough Rock Island, where he discovers the secrets of the largely uninhabited house and its hidden garden.
This book is heading to the top of my favorites list! I thought it was exciting and told such an interesting story. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did because I'm not normally a fantasy fan, but this book was so good! ****
this book is my favorite . inthis book i was always eager toresd on i love the story about the yellow girl and the fagine. my favorite part is the sory of how the wife died in the end. i give this book **** stars
i like the book because i like how the author is telling whats happing in the book and explaining it and i hope this book will be on the bluebonnet website all year. rate: *****
I really like this book its like everyone just told her lies and Viloet was like the only one who understood her but when she found that garden those plants understanded her too.****
I really liked this book it said some very great adegtives how it descirebed and mrs.valentine did not do her best to make her feel her but her uncle did and so did vielot.***
I like it because she goes into a broken down house {childrens hospital} And she finds this girl named Viloet and she is kinda scared and i think she has to beavible to get to know her and stop being shy!***
I like this book because Roo was like and under cover agent and she kept her self a secret. it was upsetting that a mom would leave their own child. I rate this book **** stars.
